Aoraki Polytechnic Go Places Scholarships for 2012

Student success: Aoraki Polytechnic students Nicola Thomson,
Shelley Casey, Kara Steedman, Jillian Millington, Ashlee Quested
and Olivia King receive Go Places scholarships to help with further
study.
Twenty-four students have been awarded scholarships by Aoraki
Polytechnic to help them with further study.
Students moving onto a higher level of study with the
organisation received $1000 to assist with the cost of tuition fees
for this year.
More than 40 students applied for scholarships through a written
application and 21 were given to students from Timaru and Dunedin
campuses.
A presentation was held on campus last week to congratulate the
recipients.
Three Aoraki Leaders scholarships were also awarded to students
going from the polytech to degree programmes at another tertiary
