The Certificate in Computer Skills (Level 2) is a flexible programme designed to improve your knowledge of a range of computing areas. This programme is delivered entirely online at your own pace.

What does it cost?
It is free to New Zealand citizens, New Zealand permanent residents and to Australian citizens permanently residing in New Zealand, subject to continued Ministry of Education funding.

Diploma in Childbirth Education


Introduction to the Programme
This programme trains you to become a childbirth educator and to teach prenatal classes to expectant parents in a wide variety of settings. Completion of all modules means that you will be able to work as a childbirth educator with a high level of knowledge based on the application of research skills.

Introduction to the Programme
This course is delivered online with three workshops held throughout the year at the Timaru campus.
The certificate covers all the essential skills for those looking to begin careers in journalism including interview skills, news writing, media law and ethics, and how to write journalistic prose.
