The programme focuses on essential computing skills and effective business communication and computer software and hardware knowledge.

Introduction to the programme
The Certificate in Computer Skills (Level 2) is a flexible programme designed to improve your knowledge of a range of computing areas. This programme is delivered entirely online at your own pace.

What will the programme cover?
• Computer basics
• Managing your computer
• Using Internet and email
• Using a word processor efficiently
• Introduction to spreadsheets
• Creating smart presentations
• Using a database
• Integrating data
• Creating a website

What does it cost?
It is free to New Zealand citizens, New Zealand permanent residents and to Australian citizens permanently residing in New Zealand, subject to continued Ministry of Education funding.

This unit standard based programme is offered on a flexible basis. Students may attend any of the six facilitated sessions held on weekdays, weekends and in the evenings.
Students may enrol at any time.
