Training Solutions works with organisations on an individual basis to source and coordinate the best training options for a particular business. This training can be conducted in-house, through public training events, or as a customised programme.

Training Solutions’ goal is to be “the cornerstone training provider for the South and Mid-Canterbury and North Otago business community” by providing training options that will address the needs of your organisation.

In today’s challenging business environment organisations must be constantly changing in order to be more competitive. Often this will have to be achieved with fewer resources.

Aoraki Polytechnic has long been an important supplier of training for people preparing for the workforce and for those seeking to re-skill or up-skill themselves. Training Solutions is an initiative that builds on the experience of the Polytechnic by seeking to meet identified training needs of various industries and businesses in the South and Mid-Canterbury and North Otago areas.

The Team

Trish Terpstra
Training Coordinator

Trish has been providing training solutions for New Zealand businesses for over 10 years.  Her experience encompasses Specialist Sales, Consulting, Performance Needs Analysis, Training Design, Development and Delivery, Evaluation, Quality Assessment, Contractor Selection and Management, and Project Management; setting up and management of a national training team and the implementation of national training programmes. 

Her role as Training Co-ordinator is to work with organisations and individuals to assist them with fulfilling their training and development needs and in the last year Trish has developed and coordinated a number of new training programmes for specific organisations within the region.

She loves her work and is dedicated to providing excellent customer service and achieving customer satisfaction.

Training Solutions can conduct a training needs analysis for your business. This will help identify the gap between the skills the employees need to have to be effective in their job and the skill they actually have.

The courses can be run at the business's premises and not open to the public or we can organise public courses when we identify a common training need.
