Aoraki Polytechnic’s Oamaru campus offers a range of Certificates, including studies in business ownership, computing skills, beauty therapy, parenting and care of children.  Short courses developed for the local community include automotive airbrushing, boat building, tourism and tour guiding.  Training Solutions, a division of Aoraki Polytechnic, meets business training needs with quality educational courses.

The Oamaru campus works with local secondary schools to offer their students STAR programmes. These give young people an opportunity to experience a tertiary environment while still at school by studying unit standards that complement and enhance their NCEA studies.
