If you would like to work in the rural sector our certificate
provides the introductory farming and labouring skills you will
need for employment.
Training takes place at our 60-hectare Aoraki Rural Training
Centre where you will learn rural skills in real agricultural
business situations.
Our tutors guide you through your studies and assist with work
experience. They also give you advice on seeking employment after
successful completion of the programme.
