This Diploma is a project-based programme with many
opportunities for individual initiative. The programme extends your
existing skills in creating digital video productions for a variety
of media. You will gain a better understanding of the television
production process by producing your own television programmes,
some of which will be screened on public television.
Students shoot on HD (digital) cameras and edit in our suite of
Mac computers running Final Cut software or Adobe Premiere Pro.
Along with other opportunities to be broadcast, your final project
will be to produce a five part series ready for public
television.
We have drawn together the requirements of industry employers
and potential employees into a diploma programme that best prepares
you for work in the television production industry.
