Scholarships
The closing date for all scholarships was the 11th of November
2011.
Aoraki Polytechnic rewards its students by offering
opportunities to progress their qualifications to a higher level at
Aoraki or move on to degree study. To do this we offer two
scholarship options for existing students, the Go Places
Scholarship and the Aoraki Leaders Scholarship.
Go Places Scholarships
These scholarships will be awarded to students who are
progressing onto a higher level of study at Aoraki Polytechnic.
Thirty scholarships are available for 2012.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be completing or have completed a Level 3 or
above programme of study in the current year at Aoraki
Polytechnic.
- Applicants must be intending to enrol in a full year full time
programme of study at Aoraki Polytechnic the following year.
- Applicants must be a New Zealand resident/citizen.
Award
A maximum allocation of $1000 per student will be awarded. The
scholarship is designed to assist students meet the cost of
programme fees.

Aoraki Leaders Scholarships
These scholarships will be awarded to students who are
progressing from Aoraki Polytechnic onto a degree programme at
another tertiary provider in New Zealand where a formal pathway
exists between the two institutions. Three scholarships are
available for 2012.
Eligibility
- Applicants must have successfully completed a programme of
study in the current year at Aoraki Polytechnic.
- Applicants must be intending to enrol in a degree programme at
another tertiary provider in New Zealand where a formal pathway
exists between the two institutions.
- Applicants must be a New Zealand resident/citizen.
Award
A maximum allocation of $5000 per student will be awarded. The
scholarship is designed to assist students meet the cost of tuition
fees.

Secondary School students
Aoraki Polytechnic only offers scholarships to students already
enrolled at Aoraki. However, there are a large number of
scholarships for secondary school students that you may be eligible
for throughout New Zealand.
To find out more about the scholarships that you may be eligible
for, make sure you talk to your schools career advisor. You may

all scholarships available) through your local library or school.
