The central Timaru Campus Library is located on level two of A block.
The library hours are:
Monday, Thursday and Friday 8.30am - 5.00 pm.
Tuesday and Wednesday 8.30am - 6.00pm
The collection is developed in conjunction with tutorial staff, to provide for teaching, learning and research needs of staff and students. As well as books, the library has magazines, reference books, videos, CD-ROMs, DVDs and posters. The Timaru Herald, Christchurch Press and Otago Daily Times newspapers are delivered daily.
The Library includes study areas, a video/DVD viewing area, a printer / photocopier and a computer suite. The computer suite, called the Student Research Centre, provides free Internet and electronic database access.
The Library operates the automated database system, Liberty3. All resources may be accessed via the Library computer catalogue. Click here to access the catalogue.
Library membership is available free of charge to all current Polytechnic students and staff.
