NZ Skills Shortage
Some 44 per cent of Kiwi employers in
the annual Manpower Talent Shortage survey say they're having
trouble filling critical positions, a rise of 14 per cent on the
previous year.
To cater for these growing skill
needs, Aoraki Polytechnic has designed its portfolio for 2012 with
a focus on areas of national and international skills
shortages.
For example, to directly cater for the shortage of skilled
tradespeople, Aoraki Polytechnic is offering more places and
programme options in Trades than ever
before.
